After a thoughtful search, Teen Feed is honored to welcome Kristina Olave, JD (she/her) as our new Executive Director. Kristina brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership devoted to youth, families, and community building. Her career has centered on nonprofit management, risk management, fundraising, and development work focused on protecting and inspiring young people.

Kristina lives in Mukilteo and is a devoted mom. She brings a warm, relationship-centered perspective to her leadership, and is deeply committed to advancing systems of belonging and opportunity for youth in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Kristina served as Racial Equity and Social Justice Administrator for the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) for the federal government, building strong tribal, local, and state relationships that continue to guide her work. A recognized leader in equitable community development, Kristina mobilized over $120 billion in investment for marginalized communities across the country while serving as the Director of the National Training Academy at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC). Teen Feed staff is already enjoying the energy, drive, and ideas she brings as she secures Teen Feed’s sound future.

Teen Feed is deeply grateful to trusted staff member P. Janine Kennedy (she/they) for guiding the organization through the recent leadership transition after the departure of beloved senior executive Tom Rembesia with steadiness and care. Janine now steps into the role of Advancement Officer, leading Teen Feed’s donor relationships and strategic partnerships. Together, Janine and Kristina will continue to expand Teen Feed’s resources, deepen community relationships, and advance our shared impact.
