Each year a group the agencies of the University District Service Providers Alliance (UDSPA), come together to plan an Annual Holiday Party for the youth we all serve. The UDSPA Holiday Party combines lively music, silly costumes, holiday decorations, a home cooked meal, special desserts, and a gift for each and every youth that attends. Most importantly, the Holiday Party offers the warmth of the holidays to the homeless and street-involved youth. And for many, this is the closest thing to a family holiday celebration they will have.
This year’s UDSPA Holiday Party will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012. We need your help to provide a festive holiday for the 140 youth we are expecting at this year’s celebration. By supporting the 2012 UDSPA Holiday Party, you not only ensure homeless youth will have a celebration and special gift for the holidays, you send a clear message to youth that they are cared for this season. BE A SECRET SANTA!
Consider fulfilling a specific gift wish of a young person in need! Our Secret Santa coordinators will pair you with a youth and three gift wishes valued under $40. You select which gift to purchase and donate, ensuring youth get the gift they want and need this season. To register today, please email secretsanta@teenfeed.org. Gift donations should be submitted by Thursday, December 6th (drop off and mailing info listed below).
HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR YOUTH!
Consider purchasing a gift to be given to a young person at the Holiday Party. We request that all gifts be valued at $40 and under. Scroll down below for a list of gift ideas for the youth we serve. Gifts are offered to youth based on their individual needs and requests at the celebration. Gift donations should be submitted by Thursday, December 6th (drop off and mailing info listed below).
MAKE A CONTRIBUTION!
Consider make a financial gift or an in-kind donation in support of the Holiday Party. Your contributions ensure there is a gift and basic needs items for every young person in need, and helps to provide a delicious meal and a festive celebration.
