Teen Feed Leadership Announcement

Teen Feed bid a heartfelt farewell in 2024 to our cherished Executive Director, Tom Rembeisa. After an extraordinary 51 years in social services — 37 of those in executive leadership — Tom began a long-planned transition, and retired following more than eight impactful years as Teen Feed’s Executive Director. His legacy:  an experienced veteran staff, an exceptional curriculum, and the trust and respect of our donors and funders, remains a testament to Tom’s lifelong service to the community. With deep gratitude, we honor Tom for his exceptional contributions to Teen Feed, celebrate his wisdom and compassion, and wish him all the best in the next chapter of his life.

Under Tom’s leadership, Teen Feed grew into a strong and right-sized organization. Tom stewarded the overwhelming support of our 2,100+ strong volunteer community. He drove collaboration with more than forty partner organizations, and we honor Tom’s vision, unwavering commitment, and lifelong service to the community.

Seasoned Deputy Director and Director of Advancement, P. Janine Kennedy (she/they), has stepped into the role of Acting Executive Director, ensuring steady leadership and continuity throughout the coming months. With a strong leadership team in place and our mission thriving, the Board begins a thoughtful search in 2025 for a new Executive Director to join us and continue advancing Teed Feed’s strategic goals. Please join us in support of this next stage of service and collaboration. We look confidently forward to an impactful future.

Warmly,

P. Janine Kennedy, Acting Executive Director
